Inspiring The Next Generation Of Leaders: Indian Army’s Dao Division Hosts ‘A Day with Soldiers’ for NCC Cadets in Arunachal Pradesh
NEW DELHI JULY 04,2026 :- In a powerful initiative aimed at inspiring the next generation of leaders, the Dao Division under the Spear Corps of the Indian Army organized an immersive “A Day with Soldiers” programme at Hayuliang in Arunachal Pradesh. The youth engagement event brought together 25 National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets, offering them a firsthand look into the operational life, discipline, and core values of the Indian Armed Forces. The day commenced with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony, allowing the young cadets to pay their respects to fallen heroes, which deeply instilled a sense of solemn duty and reverence. Following the ceremony, the cadets participated in highly motivational interactions with army officers and troops, who shared insights on leadership, career opportunities, and the profound responsibilities of defending the nation.
Beyond traditional military orientation, the programme focused heavily on modern defense capabilities by showcasing an impressive display of cutting-edge weaponry and tactical drones. To bridge the gap between youth curiosity and emerging military technologies, the cadets were taken on an educational tour of the local Drone Lab. The highlight of the day was an interactive session with an immersive drone flying simulator, giving the students a practical, hands-on experience with state-of-the-art aviation tech. By combining heritage, direct mentorship, and advanced technology, the Indian Army successfully fostered deep patriotism, leadership potential, and technological awareness among the local youth, paving the way for future leaders to emerge from the region.
