New Delhi 13th August :- Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Dr. Jitendra Singh, hoisted the National flag on his Delhi residence as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The campaign, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, inspires the people to hoist the Tricolour at their homes between August 13 and 15 to commemorate *Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, celebrating 75 years of India’s independence.
Dr. Singh highlighted the significance of the campaign, saying that it is a salutation to the sacrifices made by India’s freedom fighters and a means of generating national pride among people. “It is not only about hoisting the flag but also paying homage to the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom,” he added.
He appealed to citizens all over the nation to join with utmost enthusiasm, so that the Tricolour flies high in every home, reflecting unity, patriotism, and the self-reliant spirit of India (Aatmanirbhar Bharat). Let us unite, unfurl the Tricolour with pride, honor the sacrifices of our martyrs, and take the message of national pride and unity to the remotest corners of the nation,” Dr Singh said.
