Javid Ahmad Dar Addresses North Kashmir Grievances and Visits Revered Tujjar Sharief Dargah

BARAMULLA, AUGUST 08, 2026 — Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Cooperative, and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar, convened with multiple public delegations from North Kashmir today to address pressing local concerns and review regional development needs. Representatives and local residents brought forward critical issues affecting their communities, focusing primarily on road connectivity, essential civic amenities, and broader infrastructure upgrades. Listening attentively to the projected demands, Dar assured the visiting citizens that their genuine grievances would undergo prioritized examination and quick follow-up with the relevant government departments. Following the grievance redressed sessions, Dar visited the historic Dargah of Hazrat Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom (RA) situated in Tujjar Sharief, Sopore, where he offered prayers for the peace, harmony, and continued prosperity of the region. Paying homage at the shrine of the revered Sufi saint—widely celebrated as Sultan-ul-Arifeen and Mehboob-ul-Alam—the Minister highlighted the deep cultural significance of Kashmir’s spiritual heritage.
