Vibrant Tiranga Rally at Sanasar showcases patriotism, promotes tourism

RAMBAN, AUGUST 12: Amid the mesmerizing scenic views of Sanasar with its hills and meadows awash in tricolours, the District Administration Ramban today organised a vibrant Har Ghar Tiranga rally and series of patriotic events.Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, led the rally, joined by SSP Arun Gupta, ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, ACR Shokat Hayat Mattoo, CEO Mukhtar Ahmed, DFO Ramban Bishan Dass, DFO Batote Abhinav Rehmotra, Tehsildar, Dr. Rujeeta Mahajan and other officers.

More than 1,000 students, youth and locals enthusiastically participated in the celebrations.The day’s main attractions included a Tiranga Shikara Rally, a Tiranga Horse Riders Rally, the stunning display of tricolours around the Sanasar Lake, and captivating cultural performances by students. Visitors to the tourist destination also joined the festivities, contributing to the spirited display of patriotism.The Tiranga Shikara Rally on the serene waters of Sanasar Lake drew loud cheers as boats, adorned with fluttering tricolours, glided across the sparkling surface, creating a breathtaking spectacle.

The Tiranga Horse Riders Rally added a unique traditional touch, with riders proudly carrying the National Flag through the surrounding meadows, symbolising courage and pride. The entire lakeside area was decorated with vibrant flags, turning the landscape into a sea of saffron, white, and green. Meanwhile, students from various schools showcased their talent through patriotic songs, dances and skits, drawing applause from the crowd.

At Gool, the Sub-Divisional Administration also organized a Tiranga Rally from the Judicial Office to Hospital Gool. Led by SDM Imtiaz Ahmed, the rally saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers and locals, with the streets adorned in the vibrant hues of the tricolour, reflecting a strong spirit of patriotism and community pride.At Khari, a vibrant Tiranga Yatra was carried out in Tehsil Khari, witnessing the enthusiastic participation of over 400 students and locals. The event was led by Tehsildar Khari S. Harvir Singh, along with the BDO Khari and Police Post In-charge Khari. Similar events were also held in other tehsils across the district.
