NCC CATC-69 Day 5: Senior Officer Reviews Tech Integration and Training Standards in Prayagraj
PRAYAGRAJ, JULY 18, 2026 :- Marking a significant milestone in advanced cadet preparation, the fifth day of the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-69) at the 15 UP Battalion NCC in Prayagraj focused heavily on modernization and rigorous training standards. The day commenced with a spectacular Guard of Honour accorded by the cadets to the reviewing senior officer, setting a disciplined tone for the subsequent evaluations. In a bid to align traditional military instruction with contemporary tactical realities, the officiating Group Commander reviewed the ongoing training standards and the strategic integration of technology within the curriculum. The senior leadership, including Camp Commandant Colonel Ritu Srivastava Rawat, emphasized that the current training framework is explicitly designed to cultivate discipline, robust leadership, and a future-ready mindset among the youth.
Innovation took center stage during the day’s educational sessions, where cadets were introduced to cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), drone warfare, and modern weapon systems. These theoretical insights were immediately balanced with intensive practical exercises, as the attendees underwent rigorous map-reading drills and live-firing practice to sharpen their fieldcraft and marksmanship. Recognizing the high stakes of upcoming national competitions, the officiating Group Commander also held a dedicated session to motivate and guide Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) aspirants. By blending high-tech warfare education with foundational military disciplines, Day 5 of CATC-69 successfully reinforced the NCC’s commitment to grooming the next generation of tech-savvy, disciplined leaders for the nation.
