UDHAMPUR: Under the direct guidance of Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Prem Singh conducted a thorough inspection of civic amenities and essential services across various lodgement centres and Langer sites set up for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra pilgrims. Covering the National Highway stretch from Jakhani to the Kali Mata Temple in Tikri, the ADC meticulously reviewed accommodation facilities, sanitation, drinking water supply, electricity, and healthcare arrangements. This proactive assessment aims to guarantee the absolute comfort, well-being, and safety of the Yatris throughout their spiritual journey.
During the visit, ADC Prem Singh interacted directly with the pilgrims to gather first-hand feedback on the existing infrastructure. The Yatris expressed immense satisfaction with the district administration’s efforts, highly praising the cleanliness of the lodgement centres, the efficiency of the civic services, and the warm hospitality—which included the distribution of wholesome meals.
