KATHUA, AUGUST 11: The spirit of unity, pride and patriotism resonated across Kathua district today as a series of vibrant activities were organised under the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 campaign. From schools to community spaces, citizens came together to celebrate the nation’s tricolour with unmatched enthusiasm.
Across various Anganwadi Centres under the Poshan Project Duggan, patriotic events engaged children, women, and local residents, fostering awareness about the national campaign and encouraging active participation.
A Tiranga Rally by the students and staff of PM SHRI High School, Dinga Amb filled the streets with the colours of the national flag, while Govt. High School, Kadyala (Zone Hiranagar) echoed with chants of unity during their spirited rally.
In Mahanpur, the day began with a *Swachhata & Plantation Drive, inspiring cleanliness and environmental responsibility, followed by a grand Tiranga Rally by HSS Mahanpur that spread patriotic fervour across the town.
Under the ICDS Poshan Project Barnoti, citizens participated in awareness and community-building activities, while in Panchayat Padyari (Block Nagri), a cleanliness drive reinforced the importance of hygiene and public participation.
Creativity found expression at High School Mangloor through painting and rangoli competitions, where students showcased their artistic skills infused with patriotic themes. Meanwhile, West Block Dinga Amb witnessed a spirited Swachhata and Sanitation Drive.
Adding a unique flavour to the celebrations, HSS Korepunnu (Zone Marheen) organised a tri-colour themed food display along with a thought-provoking lecture on the Quit India Movement, linking historical sacrifices to the present-day spirit of nationalism.
Similar Har Ghar Tiranga events, including rallies, cleanliness drives, cultural activities, and awareness programmes, were organised across all administrative units of Kathua district.
