Sakeena Itoo Praises Students as JKBOSE Class 10th Summer Zone Results Reach Record Pass Percentage
Jammu, April 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education officially announced the results for the Annual Class 10th examinations in the Summer Zone areas of the Jammu division today, recording a significant overall pass percentage of 88.85 percent.
Out of the 50,754 candidates who appeared for the exams, 45,094 students successfully qualified, marking a substantial improvement over the previous year’s figure of 79.94 percent. The data revealed that girls outperformed boys once again, achieving a pass percentage of 90.42 percent compared to 87.51 percent for boys.
Additionally, government schools showed an encouraging performance with an 83.44 percent success rate, while private institutions recorded a pass percentage of 94.86 percent across 527 examination centers.
Minister for Education, Sakeena Itoo, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the successful candidates, attributing the high success rate to the hard work of students and the dedication of the teaching community.
She emphasized that the strong performance of government school students reflects the administration’s consistent efforts to enhance educational standards and infrastructure across the region.
The Minister specifically lauded the exceptional achievements of female students, noting that their success is a direct result of government initiatives aimed at empowering girls through quality education.
Encouraging those who did not meet their expectations to remain resilient, she reiterated the government’s commitment to building an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students in Jammu and Kashmir.
