Southern Army Commander Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Reviews Agnibaaz Division’s Operational Readiness and ISR Capabilities

​Pune March 27, 2026 — Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Southern Command, conducted a high-level visit to the Agnibaaz Division to evaluate the formation’s tactical preparedness and integration of modern warfare technologies.

During the visit, the Southern Army Commander was briefed on the division’s advanced Imagery Interpretation and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) framework.

This sophisticated targeting architecture is designed to enable real-time intelligence fusion, providing the force with a critical edge through superior battlefield awareness and data-driven decision-making.​

The visit also focused on the Indian Army’s ongoing modernization, with the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief receiving updates on new raisings and technical acquisitions within the Regiment of Artillery.
