Indian Army’s White Knight Corps Confirms Fatalities in Doda Road Accident; Bad Weather Cited
DODA, January 22, 2026 — The Indian Army’s White Knight Corps (16 Corps) has officially confirmed that multiple soldiers have been martyred following a tragic vehicle accident in the Doda region.
In a statement released on X (formerly Twitter), the Corps revealed that the Army vehicle was transporting troops for an ongoing operation when it slipped off the road.
The accident occurred while the vehicle was navigating treacherous mountainous terrain made even more dangerous by prevailing bad weather conditions in the general area of Doda.According to the official update, the incident resulted in multiple casualties, including several fatalities.
The White Knight Corps stated that the injured personnel were immediately evacuated from the site of the crash to receive urgent medical attention.
