Indian Army Hosts Military-Civil Fusion Capsule at Mamun to Boost National Preparedness
PATHANKOT, January 9, 2026 — The Indian Army successfully concluded a comprehensive 18-day Military–Civil Fusion (MCF) initiative at the Mamun Military Station, aimed at bridging the gap between the Armed Forces and various civil sectors.
Running from December 22, 2025, to January 8, 2026, the capsule served as a strategic platform for military leadership, district authorities, police organizations, and disaster-response agencies to align their operational strategies. The program was designed to foster a “whole-of-government” approach, ensuring that both military and civil administrations can function as a unified force during national crises, governance challenges, and emergencies.
Throughout the initiative, participants—including senior civil officials, technical experts, NCC cadets, and students—engaged in a series of interactive sessions to better understand the Army’s operational capabilities and specialized crisis-response mechanisms.
Simultaneously, the Army gained valuable insights into civil governance workflows and departmental structures, facilitating a more synchronized collaborative environment.
The program culminated on January 8 with the formulation of a Joint Roadmap, which identified key actionable steps for improved information-sharing and integrated emergency response.
Military leadership underscored that this fusion is essential for building community resilience and enhancing the overall efficiency of national governance.
