Armed Forces Veterans’ Day 2026: Dhruva Motorcycle Rally Reaches Reasi to Honor Ex-Servicemen
Reasi, January 8, 2026 : In a powerful display of patriotism and national pride, the Veterans’ Day celebrations in Reasi were highlighted today by the arrival and progression of the Dhruva Motorcycle Rally.
Marking its fourth day of a purposeful journey, the rally—accompanied by the “Eternal Mashal” to honor fallen heroes—moved from Reasi to Sunderbani, covering a distance of approximately 55 kilometers.
The day commenced with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Reasi War Memorial, where serving personnel, veterans, and civil dignitaries paid tribute to the bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.
Following the tributes, the rally was ceremoniously flagged off by MLA Reasi, Kuldeep Raj Dubey, amid significant local support. This initiative not only celebrates the selfless service of India’s ex-servicemen but also serves as a vital bridge between the Armed Forces and the local populace, reinforcing the enduring values of “Service Before Self” and national integration across the region.
