JAMMU/KASHMIR, DECEMBER 28: The Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) demonstrated a massive show of public engagement today as senior leaders and party workers joined citizens at over 5,000 booth venues to listen to the 129th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat.” The monthly radio broadcast, which has become a staple of direct communication between the Prime Minister and the public, was heard across the region via All India Radio, Doordarshan, and various digital platforms.
J&K BJP President and MP Sat Sharma led the initiative at Gharana Wetland in Suchetgarh, joined by MLA Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat and former minister Sham Choudhary, while General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul attended a screening with residents at Nideesh Enclave in Channi Rama along with MLA Vikram Randhawa.Following the broadcast, Sat Sharma lauded the program as a vital bridge between the government and the governed, noting that it provides a unique platform to reflect on India’s 2025 milestones in national security, innovation, and youth empowerment. He emphasized that the broadcast fosters a spirit of unity and public participation, serving as a cornerstone for building a more inclusive and prosperous nation.
Similarly, Ashok Koul highlighted the program’s ability to resonate at the grassroots level, inspiring collective action by celebrating technological achievements and reinforcing cultural pride.
