Delhi Customs Hosts CCFC Meeting to Boost Stakeholder Confidence and Trade Facilitation
NEW DELHI, 27 DEC 2025 — The Delhi Customs Zone recently convened a high-level Customs Clearance Facilitation Committee (CCFC) meeting at the Kalpana Chawla Conference Hall, IGI Airport, to strengthen the collaborative framework of India’s export-import (EXIM) ecosystem. Chaired by the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Delhi Zone, the session served as a vital platform for synchronizing operations between partner government agencies, including FSSAI, Plant Quarantine, and the Drug Controller, alongside major trade associations such as ASSOCHAM, GJEPC, and the Customs Broker Fraternity. By bringing together custodians, importers, and exporters, the meeting successfully addressed operational bottlenecks and reinforced the collective commitment to streamlining cross-border trade.
During the deliberations, officials highlighted the latest policy updates and digital initiatives introduced by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), focusing on their local implementation to ensure maximum efficiency. The interactive session allowed stakeholders to voice specific operational concerns, resulting in constructive dialogue and actionable outcomes aimed at improving the speed and transparency of clearances. This open-door approach was widely lauded by the trade community, as it directly addresses the practical challenges faced by businesses while fostering a culture of mutual trust and administrative accountability.
Looking toward the future, the Delhi Customs Zone reaffirmed its dedication to the “Ease of Doing Business” through its core principles of transparency, accessibility, and efficiency. The department emphasized that trade facilitation is an evolving journey that requires continuous partnership between the administration and the trading community. By institutionalizing these values and maintaining an open channel for problem-solving, Delhi Customs aims to create a robust and predictable environment that empowers the EXIM community and bolsters India’s position in global trade.
