Justice Prevails: Jammu Police Arrest Two Key Absconders Evading Non-Bailable Warrants in South Zone

JAMMU, December 26, 2025: In a significant breakthrough for the South Zone, the Jammu Police successfully apprehended two long-term absconders who had been willfully evading multiple Non-Bailable Warrants (NBWs). The operation, executed by a dedicated team from Police Station Gangyal, targeted individuals who had managed to stay under the radar despite repeated legal summons and court orders.

The arrested persons have been identified as Ashwani Kumar (alias Sunny), a resident of Bishnah, and Talvinder Singh, currently residing in the Digiana Camp area of Gangyal.The crackdown was the result of a meticulously planned operation involving sustained surveillance and actionable intelligence. Both suspects had been on the run for a considerable period, attempting to bypass the judicial process.

Following their successful apprehension, the police produced both individuals before the Hon’ble Court. After reviewing the case details and the history of their evasion, the court remanded both accused to judicial custody, ensuring they finally face the legal proceedings pending against them.
