Tulsi Poojan Day 2025: Grand Celebrations Held Across India and Rajouri to Honor Sanatan Traditions

RAJOURI – In a vibrant display of spiritual devotion and cultural heritage, Tulsi Poojan Day was celebrated with immense fervor across India on December 25, 2025. Following the rich customs of Sanatan Dharma and inspired by the teachings of Sant Shri Asaram Bapu Ji, devotees gathered in large numbers at various ashrams and centers to honor the sacred Tulsi plant. In Rajouri, the festivities at the Sant Shri Asaram Bapu Ashram in Dassal served as a focal point for the community, where the air was filled with the sounds of Vedic chants and devotional bhajans. The event featured ritualistic worship, a deep-dive spiritual discourse (satsang) on the medicinal and spiritual benefits of Tulsi, and a massive community feast (Bhandara) that emphasized unity and selfless service.

The celebration saw a heartening participation from the younger generation, with children and youth actively engaging in lighting lamps and performing ceremonial prayers. Amit Sharma, Vice President of the Youth Service Association, highlighted that such initiatives are crucial for instilling moral values and reconnecting the youth with their ancestral roots in an increasingly materialistic world. Beyond its religious significance, the event promoted environmental awareness and holistic health, as speakers underscored how Tulsi acts as a natural immunity booster and a source of mental peace. Set against the serene backdrop of the Rajouri hills, the grand celebration successfully merged tradition with social well-being, reinforcing the timeless relevance of Sanatan culture in modern life.
