Samba Police Crack Assault Case: Three Apprehended and Weapon Recovered in Bari Brahmana

SAMBA, DECEMBER 25, 2025: In a swift and decisive action against anti-social elements, the Samba Police has apprehended three individuals involved in a violent assault case registered at the Bari Brahmana Police Station.

The arrests follow a written report filed on December 23, 2025, by a resident of Rajeev Colony, who stated that his nephew had been attacked with a sharp-edged weapon by unknown persons, resulting in grievous injuries. Following the complaint, an investigation was launched under FIR No. 212/2025, invoking relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act.

Through continuous and strenuous efforts, including multiple raids, a police team succeeded in arresting the primary accused, Mohit Kumar of R.S. Pura, along with two juveniles who had been absconding since the commission of the crime. Based on the disclosure of the accused, the police recovered the weapon of offence—a sharp-edged “Toka”—and seized a Hyundai i20 car used during the assault.

This successful operation underscores the Samba Police’s zero-tolerance policy toward criminal activity and reaffirms their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the district’s citizens.
