NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 25, 2025: Marking the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Union Minister Jitendra Singh today launched five transformative digital initiatives designed to modernize India’s administrative landscape.
Speaking at the National Workshop on Good Governance Practices, Singh emphasized that while the concept of “Minimum Government, Maximum Governance” was introduced years ago, it has been fully realized under the leadership of Narendra Modi. The new reforms leverage artificial intelligence and mobile technology to streamline recruitment, training, and human resource management, ensuring that the civil service remains responsive, accountable, and future-ready.
The first major reform is a comprehensive Ex-Servicemen Reservation Compendium, which simplifies guidelines to ensure veterans receive their due benefits without administrative delays. To overhaul the hiring process, an AI-powered Recruitment Rules Generator was introduced to eliminate inconsistencies and speed up the drafting of employment protocols.
Furthermore, the launch of the e-HRMS 2.0 Mobile App allows government employees to manage service records, transfers, and pensions directly from their smartphones, significantly reducing paperwork and enhancing transparency.
Focusing on capacity building, the Minister unveiled advanced AI features for the iGOT Karmayogi platform, including “AI Sarthi” for personalized learning discovery and an “AI Tutor” to support officials during training courses. Complementing this is the Karmayogi Digital Learning Lab 2.0, a high-tech facility utilizing AR/VR and gamification to produce immersive training content for civil servants.
These initiatives, supported by the ongoing “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” campaign, represent a shift toward an outcome-oriented administrative culture that prioritizes grassroots service delivery and effective grievance redressal.
