JAMMU, DECEMBER 25, 2025: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid rich tributes today to Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the occasion of their birth anniversaries. Speaking at a commemorative event at Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Inter College in Ghazipur, the Lieutenant Governor described the two icons as the visionary architects of Modern India whose ideals of social harmony, equality, and justice continue to serve as a beacon for the nation.

Highlighting Malaviya’s 164th birth anniversary, Sinha lauded his unparalleled contributions to India’s educational and cultural advancement, specifically noting how Malaviya transformed modern education into a driver for national development through the establishment of Banaras Hindu University. He drew a parallel to current governance in Jammu and Kashmir, mentioning the use of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to build over 1,800 houses for families affected by border shelling and natural disasters, mirroring Malaviya’s spirit of public mobilization.

Turning his tribute to the 101st birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Lieutenant Governor emphasized that the former Prime Minister awakened India’s inner strength and global self-esteem through his focus on good governance and economic reforms.

Sinha noted that Vajpayee’s administrative transparency and citizen-centric service delivery paved the way for the country’s inclusive growth. He further asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the visions of both great leaders are being realized through the “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” initiative and India’s emergence as the world’s fastest-growing economy. By reviving ancient culture and prioritizing the upliftment of the underprivileged, Sinha stated that the current administration is successfully bringing the dreams of these legendary figures to life in a decisive and strong India.
