Terrorists Target Non-Local Workers in Kulgam, One Dead and Another Injured

Kulgam, July 31, 2026 — One non-local worker was killed and another sustained injuries after terrorists opened fire on them in the Kellam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday evening.

Officials reported that Terrorists targeted the two workers, who were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical attention. One of the victims later succumbed to his injuries, while the surviving worker was transferred to Government Medical College Anantnag for advanced treatment.

Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the entire area and launched a comprehensive search operation to track down the perpetrators.
