Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Interacts with Higher Command Course Officers in Srinagar

Srinagar, July 31, 2026 — Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today interacted with officers attending the Higher Command Course-55 from the Army War College, Mhow, at Lok Bhavan.

Addressing the officers and faculty members, Sinha outlined the geopolitical and strategic challenges facing the nation, emphasizing a comprehensive counter-terrorism strategy rooted in a “whole of government approach” to dismantle terror networks. He highlighted that the transformation experienced in Jammu and Kashmir over the past six years stems from a sustained commitment to rebuilding public trust, empowering citizens, and restoring dignity long overshadowed by regional instability.

During his address, the Lieutenant Governor stressed that security forces must remain fully prepared to counter asymmetric warfare, noting that data analysis and algorithmic precision are now as crucial as conventional kinetic operations.

Sinha stated that decisive action has been taken with surgical firmness against the terror ecosystem and conflict entrepreneurs, ensuring that terrorist sympathizers within government machinery were systematically dismantled to reinforce a strict zero-tolerance policy against subversion.

Lieutenant General Ajay Chandpuria, Commandant of the Army War College, along with senior security officials and faculty members, attended the session.
