Srinagar Airport Announces Cancellation of Multiple Flights Due to Operational Reasons
SRINAGAR, April 18, 2026:- The Srinagar Airport Authority has issued an official update via social media informing passengers that several flights scheduled for today have been cancelled.
According to the announcement, the cancellations affect Air India flights AI 1799 and AI 1810 operating on the Delhi-Srinagar-Delhi route, as well as SpiceJet flight SG-161 traveling from Srinagar to Delhi via Jammu.
The authority noted that these changes were necessitated by specific operational reasons provided by the airlines involved.In light of these disruptions, airport officials have advised all affected passengers to contact their respective airlines directly to arrange for rebooking or to process refunds.
Travelers are urged to seek confirmation and further assistance before heading to the airport to avoid unnecessary travel and congestion.
The Srinagar Airport Authority expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the public and thanked passengers for their cooperation and understanding during these schedule adjustments.
