BARAMULLA, APRIL 25: Minister for Health, Medical Education, Social Welfare, and Education, Sakeena Itoo, conducted an extensive visit to Baramulla today to inaugurate key academic facilities and lay foundation stones for several major infrastructure projects.
At Government Degree College (Women) Baramulla, the Minister inaugurated a newly constructed Science Block designed to provide modern laboratory and learning facilities for female students. At GMC Baramulla, she initiated the construction of a specialized Drug De-addiction Centre to provide counseling and rehabilitation services, alongside a new Autopsy and Mortuary Centre to streamline medico-legal procedures.
Additionally, she laid the foundation stones for a 100-bedded girls’ hostel and an ST-PG hostel at GDC Boys Baramulla, projects intended to bridge the accommodation gap for female and marginalized students.
