Indian Coast Guard Honors Shaurya Chakra Winner With New Auditorium

DAMAN, MAY 6, 2026:- The Indian Coast Guard officially inaugurated the Subedar PH Moses Shaurya Chakra Shoorvir Auditorium in Daman on May 5, 2026. The facility was dedicated to PH Moses of the 1st Assam Rifles, who attended the ceremony as the guest of honor.

This dedication serves as a permanent tribute to the bravery and professional excellence displayed by the officer during his service.PH Moses earned the Shaurya Chakra for his exceptional leadership and courage during Operation New Samtal in Manipur on May 14, 2025.

During the engagement, his decisive actions led to the successful neutralization of ten armed miscreants. By naming the facility after him, the Indian Coast Guard aims to provide a lasting source of inspiration for future personnel while strengthening the bonds of camaraderie between the different branches of the armed forces.
