Haryana STF Achieves Breakthrough with Extradition of Gangster Vanket Garg From Georgia

CHANDIGARH June 11,2026 — The Haryana Police Special Task Force achieved a major international success by ensuring the successful extradition of notorious gangster Vanket Garg from Georgia.

This marks the first-ever extradition from Georgia to India and represents the tenth successful deportation or extradition executed by the Haryana Special Task Force in 2026.

The accused was wanted in 34 high-profile cases involving murder, extortion, organized crime, and possession of illegal weapons. His return to India was finalized through close international cooperation, the utilization of an Interpol Red Corner Notice, and rigorous legal action.

This operation highlights the ongoing and relentless crackdown by the Haryana Police against organized crime networks and fugitive criminals operating across borders.
