Tezpur Airport Hosts Basic Disaster Management Training Program for CISF Personnel
TEZPUR June 11,2026 — The Central Industrial Security Force unit at Tezpur Airport, in collaboration with the 12th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force from Itanagar, conducted a comprehensive Basic Disaster Management Training program for its security personnel.
The specialized initiative focused on equipping airport security staff with essential skills required during emergency situations.The training session provided participants with extensive hands-on exposure to disaster preparedness strategies, advanced search and rescue techniques, patient handling, and efficient evacuation procedures.
Additionally, the personnel received vital instruction in executing oxygen therapy, administering first aid, performing CPR, and applying other life-saving skills necessary to handle critical incidents effectively.
Such training programs significantly strengthen the internal disaster response capabilities of the security personnel stationed at the airport.
