Air Marshal Shrinivas Reviews Advanced Training Facilities at Air Force Academy Dundigal

DUNDIGAL, April 24, 2026 – Air Marshal Shrinivas, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Training Command, conducted an official visit to the Air Force Academy in Dundigal on April 23, 2026.

He was accompanied by Sunita Shrinivas, President of the Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional). Upon arrival, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief was honored with a ceremonial Guard of Honor and paid his respects by laying a wreath at the Academy Memorial to commemorate fallen heroes.

During the visit, he inspected the recently upgraded Academy Library, which now serves as a designated Centre of Excellence for academic resources.

The visit included a detailed review of the academy’s cutting-edge training infrastructure, specifically focusing on the drone simulator and the Eklavya flight simulator, which utilizes virtual reality technology to train cadets.

Air Marshal Shrinivas also toured the Vayu Yodha Sthal located at the Flight Cadets’ Mess and the newly inaugurated baffle range.

Expressing his appreciation for the continuous improvements in training facilities, he emphasized that maintaining high operational preparedness is directly linked to the use of state-of-the-art technology and the adherence to exceptional training standards.
