Jammu 10 September :- Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu Kashmir unit has taken a dig at the delay in releasing relief package in the Union Territory (UT) Jammu Kashmir, which is facing terrible disasters, and reminded the Modi Government of Jammu Kashmir that Jammu Kashmir is a Union Territory.
Along with this, Bollywood celebrities were also requested to come forward for help.In a press conference held today at the party’s State Central Office, State Chief Manish Sahni said that the period of natural calamities has stopped to some extent, but the number of affected people is still on the rise.
After Jammu, Reasi more than 50 houses have been damaged due to land subsidence in Kalaban village of Poonch district. Sahni said that the BJP, which had won by raising its voice on the issue of discrimination against Jammu division, has today started delaying the release of relief package for the people of Jammu division.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi has himself assessed the calamity in neighbouring Punjab and Himachal and has announced a relief package. Sahni said that the situation is becoming complicated due to the delay in the release of relief package.
The weather has started changing, the troubles of the homeless people camping in tents and open fields have started increasing. The delay in the release of relief package is making people feel that they are being treated step-motherly.
Sahni has also appealed for help from those who have embezzled crores of rupees by making feature films like ‘The Kashmir Files 1-2’, ‘Haider’, as well as other Bollywood celebrities who shoot films and serials in the state and visit the temple of Mata Vaishno Devi for promotion.
