Mathura Cyber Crime Crackdown: Police Raid 28 Locations, Over 100 Suspects Detained

MATHURA JULY 08 : In a massive, coordinated crackdown on cybercriminals, the Mathura Police launched a mega-raid targeting 28 suspicious locations across four police station jurisdictions.

The extensive operation was spearheaded by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shlok Kumar. Demonstrating an unprecedented scale of mobilization, the crackdown involved 8 Circle Officers, personnel from 16 police stations, two companies of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), and a force of around 300 police officers.

Simultaneous raids were conducted across the Kosi Kalan, Shergarh, Barsana, and Govardhan police station areas. During the operation, police detained more than 100 suspects. Authorities are currently interrogating the detainees and thoroughly examining their criminal records alongside seized electronic devices.

“Strict legal action will be taken against anyone found involved in cyber fraud,” stated SSP Shlok Kumar, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy.

The massive scale of this surprise operation has sent shockwaves through the region’s cyber-criminal networks, marking a significant step forward in the district’s fight against digital financial fraud.
