Rajkot Airport conducts annual anti hijacking mock exercise to boost aviation security
RAJKOT, July 8: The Central Industrial Security Force at Rajkot Airport conducted its Annual Anti-Hijacking Mock Exercise to assess and evaluate response capabilities during a simulated scenario of unlawful interference.
The specialized drill serves to strengthen operational readiness, enhance inter-agency coordination, and reinforce preparedness against evolving security challenges in the aviation sector.The high-level exercise was chaired by Chaitanya Mandlik, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Rajkot.
The drill witnessed active participation from senior officials and personnel representing the Central Industrial Security Force, Airports Authority of India, District Administration, Intelligence Bureau, commercial airlines, and various other aviation stakeholders and participating agencies.
