CRPF’s 121 Battalion Deploy to Secure Lakhanpur Yatri Reception Centre for Amarnath Yatra 2026
LAKHANPUR, July 8 — The Central Reserve Police Force has heightened security measures at the entry points of Jammu and Kashmir to ensure the safety of devotees participating in the ongoing Amarnath Yatra.
As part of this comprehensive security plan, the 121 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force has taken full charge of securing the Yatri Reception Centre at Lakhanpur, which serves as the primary gateway for pilgrims entering the region.
The deployed troops are maintaining round-the-clock vigilance and monitoring the reception area to facilitate a hassle-free and safe transit for the incoming batches.
Officials stated that the personnel are operating with a high level of professionalism and dedication to fulfill the security grid requirements, ensuring every pilgrim is well-protected as they arrive to begin their annual pilgrimage to the holy cave shrine.
