Srinagar Police honor six retiring officers at District Police Lines farewell ceremony

SRINAGAR, July 5, 2026:- Srinagar Police organized a farewell ceremony at the District Police Lines to honor six police personnel on their superannuation, recognizing their long and dedicated service to the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The retiring personnel included SI Abdul Aziz Wagay, SI Reyaz Ahmad Rather, SI Mohammed Saleem Pala, ASI Kulwant Singh, ASI Bashir Ahmad Batloo, and SgCt Riyaz Ahmad Khan. Throughout their careers, these individuals served the department with professionalism, discipline, and a commitment to maintaining public safety and regional peace.

Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar, G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, paid tribute to the retiring officers and expressed deep appreciation for their invaluable contributions to the force.
