Indian Army Hosts Strategic Career Guidance Lecture for Veterans’ Children in Rajouri
RAJOURI, JULY 5, 2026 — As part of its ongoing community outreach and welfare initiatives, the Indian Army successfully organized a ‘Sampark Activity’ featuring a dedicated Career Guidance Lecture tailored for the children of Ex-Servicemen at Solki in Rajouri. The primary objective of this educational session was to equip the young minds of the veteran fraternity with comprehensive awareness regarding diverse career opportunities, emerging educational pathways, and crucial skill development avenues essential for their long-term professional growth. The interactive event saw enthusiastic participation from a total of 30 students, who were thoroughly guided by army personnel on the importance of meticulous goal-setting, navigating modern professional fields, and building the necessary discipline, dedication, and confidence required to excel in their chosen paths.
Beyond formal instruction, the lecture provided an interactive open forum where the students raised various queries regarding academic planning, specialized streams, and future job prospects, all of which were comprehensively addressed by the instructors to help the youth make informed choices aligned with their personal aspirations. In addition to fostering the academic and professional development of the local youth, the initiative served as a meaningful platform to further strengthen the enduring bond between the Indian Army and the Ex-Servicemen community. The timely career intervention was highly appreciated and received widespread acclaim from both the participating children and the veteran families, who lauded the military’s continued commitment to nurturing the next generation.
