BJP National President Nitin Nabin to Embark on Landmark Two-Day Jammu Visit
JAMMU, July 5, 2026: Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin is set to begin a crucial two-day visit to Jammu on July 6 and 7, a trip that state party leadership is framing as a historic milestone. During his maiden visit as national chief, Nabin will address a massive Sammelan at Majestic Grand in Mishriwala, and lead a series of high-level interactions with senior leaders, elected representatives, and youth activists at the Convention Centre and the party headquarters. A core focus of the itinerary includes paying floral tributes to ideological icons, with a visit scheduled for Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee at Mishriwala on July 6, followed by a tribute to Pt. Prem Nath Dogra at Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Chowk on July 7.
In anticipation of the high-profile visit, J&K BJP President and Member of Parliament Sat Sharma chaired a sequence of intensive organizational review meetings across Trikuta Nagar, the convention centre, and Mishriwala to finalize logistical preparations. Accompanied by BJP General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Baldev Singh Billawaria, alongside senior leader Vibodh Gupta, Sharma mobilized the party’s machinery, directing volunteers to ensure flawless coordination across venue management, media operations, and public mobilization. The preparations also included a dedicated strategy session with the BJP Minority Morcha, led by Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, and a meeting with a delegation from the Bihari Samaj, who expressed their gratitude over Nabin’s elevation to national president and requested an opportunity to formally felicitate him. Emphasizing the strategic weight of the visit, Sharma stated that Nabin’s presence will energize the grassroots cadre and solidify the party’s organizational foundation ahead of future political engagements in Jammu and Kashmir.
