Delhi Police Crime Branch arrests two suspects within 24 hours of firing incident in northeast Delhi
NEW DELHI, June 3, 2026 — The Inter-State Cell of the Delhi Police Crime Branch apprehended two suspects within 24 hours of a firing incident in northeast Delhi.
During the swift operation, law enforcement officials recovered an illegal pistol and seized four live cartridges from the possession of the accused.
Investigations revealed that one of the arrested individuals was directly involved in a recent firing case registered at the New Usmanpur police station, and both suspects have a history of prior criminal antecedents.
The successful crackdown was led by Inspector Pankaj Malik under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner of Police Ramesh Lamba and the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police Aditya Gautam.
