REASI, January 13, 2026: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Udhampur Range, Sarah Rizvi, visited the District Police Office (DPO) Reasi today to conduct an extensive review of cyber security protocols and the overall security apparatus of the district.
During her visit, she held detailed interactions with officers and issued immediate directives for strict adherence to digital safety measures.
Rizvi emphasized that all officers must utilize only official email IDs for administrative correspondence and strictly avoid the use of personal emails on office computers.
She further stressed that all cyber security guidelines must be meticulously followed while handling digital systems to mitigate the risk of data breaches and emerging cyber threats.
The review meeting was attended by various high-ranking officials, including Additional SP Katra Vipan Chandran, Additional SP Reasi Iftkhar Ahmed, and several Deputy Superintendents of Police from across the district.
Beyond digital infrastructure, Rizvi assessed the current security scenario of District Reasi, placing all officers on high alert in anticipation of the upcoming Republic Day 2026 celebrations.
She mandated intensified patrolling, comprehensive area domination, and heightened vigilance to ensure public safety and maintain peace throughout the festivities.
Concluding her visit, the Deputy Inspector General inspected the District Police Lines (DPL) Reasi, where she toured the Welfare Centre, GO Mess, and Gymnasium.
She expressed appreciation for the existing welfare initiatives and underscored the necessity of maintaining a healthy, motivated force for effective policing.
