GURSAI, January 03, 2026 : In a significant achievement for local law enforcement, the Gursai Police Station has successfully traced and recovered a 29-year-old woman who had been reported missing from her home. The woman, identified as Maryam Kousar, wife of Mohd Shafeeq and a resident of Batadurian, Gursai in Tehsil Mendhar, went missing under unexplained circumstances.
Upon receiving the report, the Gursai Police promptly initiated a comprehensive search operation, deploying both traditional investigative techniques and technical surveillance to track her movements across the district.
The professional and sustained efforts of the Gursai Police team led to her safe recovery in the Surankote area. Following her recovery, the police completed all necessary legal and medical formalities before handing her over to her family.
