Baramulla Police Enhance Legal Coordination and Verification Efficiency at DPL Training Session

BARAMULLA, Jan 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted a comprehensive training-cum-briefing session today at the Conference Hall of District Police Lines (DPL) Baramulla to streamline legal procedures and administrative efficiency.

Chaired by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla, the session brought together a wide array of personnel, including the Additional SP, CPO, and nearly 40 pairavi officers and verification staff from various police stations and posts. The primary objective was to strengthen the “Pairavi” system—the dedicated follow-up of criminal cases in court—to ensure that legal compliance is met with professional rigor and that prosecution efforts are well-coordinated.

During the briefing, senior officers emphasized that the timely disposal of court matters and verification requests is a cornerstone of effective public service. Specific guidance was provided to the Passport Verification and Service Verification sections to eliminate delays and adopt best practices for swifter processing.

The session also served as an open forum to resolve day-to-day operational bottlenecks faced by staff in the field. By reinforcing the skills of its legal and establishment sections, the Baramulla Police reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a robust judicial follow-up mechanism and providing transparent, efficient services to the citizens of the district.
