Reasi SSP Mukund Tibrewal hosts Thana Diwas in Mahore to strengthen police public relations
MAHORE, May 14, 2026 — Senior Superintendent of Police Mukund Tibrewal presided over a Thana Diwas public outreach programme at Dak Bungalow Mahore to enhance community-oriented policing in the Reasi district.
The event, attended by SDPO Mahore Parul Bhardwaj and other senior officers, provided a platform for residents from Mahore and surrounding areas to discuss issues concerning public welfare, security, and road connectivity.
The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Jammu and Kashmir Police to foster transparent and responsive communication at the grassroots level.During the interaction, Tibrewal addressed concerns regarding drug abuse and urged the community to support the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
He specifically called upon religious leaders to use their influence to educate the youth about the dangers of narcotics during their sermons.
The SSP emphasized that strong coordination between the public and the police is essential for maintaining communal harmony and peace in the region.
The police leadership also encouraged participants to remain vigilant against anti-national activities and to report any suspicious behavior to security agencies promptly. Reasi Police reaffirmed their commitment to a people-friendly approach, promising that all genuine grievances raised during the session would be addressed with priority.
