Property Worth ₹1.20 Crore of Notorious Drug Peddler Attached in Pampore Under Nasha Mukt J&K Campaign

Awantipora, June 10, 2026 :-In a major crackdown on drug trafficking under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, Awantipora Police on Wednesday attached a double-storey residential house valued at approximately ₹1.20 crore belonging to alleged drug peddler Manzoor Mir, also known as “Mann Tiger,” a resident of Kadlabal Pampore.

The action was taken under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act after an investigation by Police Station Pampore established that the property had been acquired through proceeds generated from the illegal trade of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Police officials said the accused is involved in multiple narcotics-related cases and that the attached property was found to be directly linked to his alleged drug trafficking activities.

The move is part of the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s intensified efforts to dismantle the financial networks supporting the drug trade and to curb the growing menace of narcotics in the region. Local residents have welcomed the action, describing it as a strong step towards protecting youth and strengthening the campaign for a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
