JPDCL announces scheduled power shutdown in Jammu, Nagrota, Sidhra and parts of Kathua district
JAMMU, June 13, 2026:- Chief Engineer (Distribution) of the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited has informed the public that scheduled power shutdowns will take place across various areas to facilitate necessary maintenance and repair works.
The electricity supply to MES Nagrota, Sidhra, Bamyal, PHE Sheetli Station, and surrounding localities will face a temporary outage on June 14 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Additionally, residents of Dinga Amb, Katli, Dhabi, Mangloor, and adjoining areas will experience a power suspension on June 14 from 6 am to 11 am.A separate shutdown has been scheduled for June 15 from 6 am to 12 noon, affecting Basohli, Martha, Nagrota, Saman, Jandrota, Bhoond, Duggan, Chalog, Dhaggar Bani, and adjacent pockets.
Meanwhile, several commercial and residential hubs in Jammu, including Transport Nagar, Narwal, Railway Colony, Upper Chowadi, parts of Channi Himmat, Malik Market, Matto Colony, Bathindi, Sunjwan, and neighboring sectors, will face power disruptions on June 14 between 6 am and 10 am.
Furthermore, specific brief interruptions are planned exclusively for the Bathindi and Sunjwan areas on June 14 from 6 am to 6:30 am and again from 9:30 am to 10 am.
Finally, the power distribution corporation has announced that supply to Janipur, Jhajjarkotli, and their adjoining neighborhoods will remain affected on June 15 from 6 am to 9 am. Consumers have been advised to plan their activities accordingly to minimize inconvenience during the maintenance hours.
