Javid Dar Reviews Education Department Progress and Infrastructure in Baramulla District
BARAMULLA, April 16, 2026:- The Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development, and Panchayati Raj, Javid Ahmad Dar, chaired a high-level review meeting today to evaluate the performance and operational challenges of the education department in Baramulla and Rafiabad.
The session was attended by the Director of School Education Kashmir along with district and zonal education officers who provided comprehensive updates on current infrastructure, staffing levels, and ongoing developmental projects.
The minister emphasized that strengthening the regional education system requires precise planning and better coordination between various stakeholders to ensure that all administrative hurdles are resolved promptly.
During the discussion, the minister highlighted the necessity of creating a conducive learning environment, particularly in rural and far-flung areas where student retention and enrolment remain top priorities.
He directed officials to ensure the optimal utilization of available resources and to implement stricter monitoring mechanisms to improve overall academic standards.
There was a specific focus on closing infrastructure gaps and maintaining a consistent presence of teaching staff to provide students with a stable educational foundation.The minister also advocated for the integration of technology and innovative teaching methodologies to bring government schools in line with modern educational standards.
He urged the attending officers to perform their duties with a high degree of accountability and dedication. In response to the specific challenges raised by the education officers during the session, the minister assured them that the government would address all genuine grievances on a priority basis to further enhance the quality of public education in the district.
