Jammu and Kashmir BOPEE conducts common entrance test for postgraduate nursing courses
SRINAGAR, June 16, 2026 :- The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations conducted the Common Entrance Test for admission to M.Sc. Nursing courses for the 2026-27 academic session.
The entrance examination was held simultaneously across designated centers in both the Jammu and Kashmir divisions. A total of 447 candidates appeared for the postgraduate nursing test across the Union Territory.
The examination was held at S.P. College on M.A. Road in Srinagar for the Kashmir division and at Government Gandhi Memorial Science College in Jammu for the Jammu division. To ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the test, the Board made comprehensive logistical and security arrangements in close collaboration with the respective college administrations and local law enforcement agencies.
The entire process was executed under the guidance of BOPEE Chairperson Minu Mahajan.The examination proceeded under the vigilant supervision of the staff from both educational institutions, and no incidents of misconduct or malpractice were reported. The Chairperson, along with Board members, the Secretary, the Controller of Examinations, and BOPEE officials, actively monitored both venues.
Following the successful conclusion of the test, the Board management expressed gratitude to the college staff and the district deployment teams working under the overall supervision of the respective Deputy Commissioners for their operational support.
