CISF conducts passenger awareness and security drive at Navi Mumbai and Shirdi airports

NAVI MUMBAI, June 16, 2026 – The Central Industrial Security Force, in coordination with airport operators and airlines, conducted passenger awareness and stakeholder sensitization programs at Navi Mumbai Airport and Shirdi Airport.

The initiative aimed to enhance security awareness, strengthen regulatory compliance, and promote a secure and passenger-friendly airport environment.During the drive, passengers were briefed on Security Restricted Items, the One Handbag Rule, standard security screening requirements, and valid identity documents to facilitate smooth processing and ensure compliance with aviation security regulations.

Airport stakeholders were also sensitized on Airport Entry Permit guidelines, aviation security protocols, and measures to ensure safe, dignified, and priority assistance for persons with disabilities and persons with reduced mobility during their movement within the airport premises.
