Indian Army conducts flood relief and disaster response mock drills across Uttar Pradesh
PRAYAGRAJ — June 13, 2026 :- The Madhya Bharat Area of the Indian Army has conducted comprehensive flood relief and disaster response mock drills at VIP Ghat, Sangam Area, Qila Ghat, and multiple other locations across Uttar Pradesh to strengthen preparedness ahead of any flood-related contingency.
The drills validated key aspects of emergency response, including rescue procedures, casualty evacuation, medical assistance, relief distribution, and coordination with civil administration and other agencies under simulated disaster conditions.
The exercise also provided an opportunity to rehearse swift mobilization, on-ground coordination, and timely assistance to affected citizens, reflecting the commitment of the military to stand by the nation during natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
Such initiatives reinforce operational readiness, improve military-civil synergy, and ensure that response teams remain prepared to act with speed, precision, and compassion when lives and livelihoods are at stake.
