ARTRAC commander reviews training initiatives at Military Intelligence School in Pune

PUNE, June 04, 2026:The General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Army Training Command, Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, visited the Military Intelligence Training School and Depot in Pune to review ongoing institutional developments.

During the visit, the Army Commander was extensively briefed by the institution’s commandant, Lieutenant General Devinder Pal Singh, regarding current training initiatives and recent advancements in infrastructure.

Lieutenant General Sharma commended the institution for its progressive absorption of modern technology and its pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge intelligence training designed to meet evolving future security challenges.As part of the official itinerary, the Army Commander presented individuals with the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief commendation card to recognize their outstanding contributions to military training.

Additionally, the event featured a special felicitation ceremony for Intelligence Corps veterans. Retired Colonel Ripu Daman Singh and retired Naib Subedar Doctor Saravanan P were honored with the Veteran Achievers Medal and a Certificate of Appreciation, celebrating their significant contributions toward the welfare of veterans in the region.
