Udhampur 16th August :- An Absconder was today arrested by Udhampur Police.
As Per reports Police team from Police Station Kud led by its SHO , successfully apprehended narcotics absconder who had been evading arrest since 2017.
The arrested individual namely Shoket Hussain Bhat S/O Late Ghulam Mohd. Bhat R/O Haweli Madena Sahib Srinagar, had been absconding in connection with case FIR No. 01/2011 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act registered at PS Kud.
An arrest warrant was issued by the Hon’ble Additional Sessions Court Udhampur, in order to bring the absconder to justice.
Acting on the warrant, the police team of PS Kud arrested the said absconder from Udhampur and produced in the court of law.
