Srinagar 16th August :- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has assured full support to the people affected by the recent Cloud Burst in Chishoti village of Kishtwar district.
In a post shared on X from the Office of the LG J&K, it was stated that LG Manoj Sinha spoke to senior officials and personally reviewed the ongoing rescue and relief operations at Chashoti in Kishtwar, one of the worst-affected areas.
The LG emphasized that immediate relief must be provided to the victims along with uninterrupted essential supplies, ensuring that no household faces scarcity of basic needs during this crisis.
He further underlined that the administration has been directed to prioritize rapid response, extend all necessary assistance to the affected families, and continue ground-level monitoring of the situation.
Assuring long-term support, Manoj Sinha committed to overseeing the reconstruction of houses damaged in the devastating flash floods, reaffirming the government’s resolve to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Jammu and Kashmir in this difficult time.
