BATHINDA, AUGUST 06, 2026 — In a major push toward modernizing combat capabilities and strengthening operational preparedness, Lieutenant General Mohit Malhotra, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Sapta Shakti Command (South Western Command), concluded a comprehensive three-day operational visit to Bathinda Military Station spanning from August 04 to August 06, 2026. The high-level visit focused on evaluating operational readiness, assessing military infrastructure, and refining strategic planning to meet modern defense demands.

During the visit, Lt Gen Malhotra engaged in extensive operational discussions with senior field commanders to carry out an in-depth review of the prevailing security dynamics and operational environment in the region.
