Indian Army Concludes Historic Women’s Football Premier League

Ladakh August 06 :- Empowering Women Inspiring Ladakh.The 1st Ladakh Women’s Football Premier League 2026 organised by the Indian Army in coordination with the Ladakh Football Association under Op SADBHAVANA, concluded on 06 Aug 2026 at Spituk Football Stadium, Leh, marking a significant step towards promoting women’s football in Ladakh.Ladakh Football School & Academy (LFSA) emerged as Champions, while United Football Club (United FC) finished as Runners-up.
Lt Gen Madanraj Pandey, GOC, Fire And FuryCorps, graced the Closing Ceremony and felicitated the winners. Aditi Chauhan, former goalkeeper of the Indian Women’s National Football Team, was also present on the occasion.The six-day tournament brought together eight women’s teams from across Ladakh, fostering youth engagement, sporting excellence and the spirit of One Dream One Team One Ladakh.
